Description:

Dominating the town of Thame is Thame Town Hall. Located centrally within this gorgeous market town and right opposite the entrance to Waitrose. Thame Town Hall has a wealth of original stylish features and is a really classic location for a Mynt Image Craft and Gift market. Thame Town Hall is also utilised by Midsommer Murders and is now on the tourist map, with tourists taking tours of where this popular TV series is filmed.

Mynt Image have been holding markets now in Thame for 10 years with 2024 being our 10th season. This delightful market never fails to perform, and although the footfall is never large, sales can be excellent. Maximum sales of over £700 have been achieved though sales of £100 - £150 are more regular with many achieving £300+. Thame is a wealthy market town , just East of Oxford, and is a draw for people from the surrounding villages to come to do their shopping. We have had more celebrities and personalities at Thame Craft and Gift market than at any other of our locations.

This is one of those locations where a high footfall is not important and where the last hour can often be the best for sales as customers return to buy items seen earlier in the day. Footfall is usually between 400 and 700, though higher figures have been achieved.

The Hall is located on the 1st floor of this historic building, though there is a well maintained lift for both stall holders and customers to use. Unloading is right outside the hall before parking in one of the low priced council car parks for the day.

Mynt Image as usual are out on the street getting the public into this excellent market. Those stall holders who have already worked with us will know that we don't give up and can double the expected footfall at some locations. We believe that utilising our active marketing techniques we reach the potential of this charming Town Hall location.

Mynt Image already have a well developed core of stall holders who regularly utilise this venue. However we still have spaces each month for new members of the crafting community to join the regulars.
