Description:

Hello,

Following on from the success of last years Winter Fayre, I am pleased to confirm the Summer Fayre will take place on Saturday 21st June between 11am – 3pm.

We would love for you to join us - the event will take place on the carpark of Cromer Hospital (with provision inside for craft/retail stalls in the event of poor weather).

All we would ask is a non-refundable booking fee of £10 to reserve your space (as this is limited to 30) and on the day if you can donate a raffle prize or a donation, it would be really appreciated.

Please do give me a call or email for more information, or to book, please complete the form via the link above.

All funds raised will be used to benefit Cromer and District Hospital.

In case you didn’t know about our work –

We raise money and items to support patients , their families and our staff at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital which includes the  Cromer and District Hospital.  Our funds are used to provide the extras that can not be funded by the NHS.  The amazing donations and legacies of our supporters plus fundraising via events are used to fund extra equipment, staff development, research, and enhanced environment and facilities.

Examples of recent projects supported by us are –

The recently refurbished and extended units at Cromer – including the Cancer Unit which enables chemotherapy closer to home.

  • New Clinics at Cromer Hospital to support palliative care patients – this provides a space for individuals in North Norfolk to express their preferences for future care.  These Clinics aim to reduce the fear often associated with end of life and empower people to take control and plan for their future.
  • Provision of funds to purchase a dedicated cardiac MRI scanner for the new NNUH Diagnostic assessment centre, which is set to see 500 patients a day when it is completed in 2025.
  • Complementary therapies for Cancer patients, carers, and staff.  These are beneficial for wellbeing, reduce anxiety, improve quality of life, and may contribute to prolonging life.
  • Patient Transport

We are currently actively seeking funds for more projects, which include –

  • Additional facilities at Cromer Hospital
  • Provision for further accommodation so parents and carers of sick children can be near their loved one when in hospital.
  • New robots to deliver pioneering surgery – which provided surgeons with greater visibility and precision than conventional surgery.  For patients’ robotic surgery is far safer and less invasive, resulting in shorter recovery times and a quicker return to normality.

I hope you can join us!
