CARNIVAL THEME ‘Back to the Future…’
The Luton Carnival Arts Development Trust aka UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA) invites you to the Luton International Carnival 2025 (LIC25), on Sunday 25th of May 2025 (12:00 - 18:00).
Get ready to embark on a journey ‘Back to the Future’. This year's theme is a vibrant fusion of nostalgia and innovation, encouraging participants to explore the past, present, and future through the lens of carnival and combined arts.
The 49th year of the Luton International Carnival is a precursor to the ‘big one’, at Carnival 2026 (LIC26), when Luton Carnival, in its modern form, turns 50 years old. 2026 also coincides with Luton Borough Council’s own 100 year birthday.
