Description:

A community fair celebrating seventy years of Dines Green. With lots of entertainment , activity and stalls for everyone, this event aims to showcase the best in the local community and give locals an afternoon to remember.  Features include Dines Green's Got Talent, The Great Dines Green Bake-Off, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, rodeo bull, sports zone, eco zone, live music, games, gifts, cheerdance, local history, stocks with wet sponges, food & drink, raffle, tombola, plants etc etc. We have plenty of space for tradestands, entertainment and information amongst our other features outdoors.

Stands cost £10 for a 4m x 4m outdoor pitch, with a choice of hardstanding or grass. We aim to make the whole event affordable and good value so that local residents can come together to enjoy a great value day out that will go down in Dines Green's history. With support from three local churches, schools, Brownies and Guides, Tudor WAy Family Hub, Magic Moments and Worcester Community Trust, as well as local residents, Dinesfest will be held on the extensive school campus of Honeywell Primary School, who will be opening classrooms and showcasing the school to prospective pupils and families on the afternoon. So come and meet the teachers and visit the classrooms while you are around.

The event has been made possible with funding from Worcester City Council and Worcestershire County Cllr Richard Udall, to give the community an event to remember and raising funds for future community-enhancing events and activities. Tradestands open 1pm-4.00pm (Event finale indoors 4-4.30pm). Admission is free. (NB limited parking as the local community will mainly walk, bus or cycle).

This event is aimed at locals, on an estate with an estimate population of 3000 and as many on new developments within walking and cycling distance or by bus. On-site parking is limited and sustainable travel is encouraged! Extensive local publicity and through the media.
