Calling All Traders – Join Us for Armed Forces Day!
Saturday 28th June 2025
11am – 3pm
Queens Park, Loughborough
We’re excited to invite traders, businesses, and organisations to be part of Armed Forces Day 2025 in Queen's Park, Loughborough! This event will celebrate and honour the dedication and sacrifices of our armed forces, and we want YOU to be part of the action!

What We're Looking For:

Food and Drink Stalls – From street food to refreshments, everything from hot meals to sweet treats!

Crafts & Merchandise – Military-themed items, handmade goods, and local crafts.

Charity & Support Stalls – Organisations offering support for veterans, military families, and others.

Fun & Family Activities – Games, face painting, entertainment for all ages.

Local Businesses & Services – A wide range of products that will attract a local, family-friendly crowd.
Documentation Required:
- £5m (minimum) Public Liability Insurance – All traders must provide documented evidence of valid public liability insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million.
- Risk Assessment – A completed risk assessment must be submitted with your application. For guidance on how to complete one, please visit www.hse.gov.uk.
- Fire Risk Assessment – Traders preparing hot food on site are also required to submit a fire risk assessment. A template will be provided to complete.
- Food Hygiene Certificate – All food traders must supply a copy of their current food hygiene certification.
- Gas Safety Certificate – If using any gas appliances, you must provide a valid gas safety certificate.
- PAT Certificates – If you’re bringing electrical equipment, portable appliance testing (PAT) certificates must be provided.
- Street Trading Licence – If you already hold a street trading licence, please include a copy with your application (optional but helpful).
Event Details
Date: Saturday 28th June 2025. Time: 11am – 3pm. Location: Queen's Park, Loughborough. Entry: Free for visitors, but stallholder spaces are limited! Family-Friendly Event.
