Description:
Broughton Alive are busy organising this year's Summer Carnival for Saturday 21st June. This is the largest summer carnival in South Leicestershire, with over 1000 people attending.
Broughton Alive is a community volunteer group and the profits from this event are used to support local community groups and clubs.
The summer carnival starts with a parade of vehicles, cars, bikes, trucks and steam engines through the village, static floats from the local schools and childrens activity groups, over 100 stalls, fun fair rides, BBQ, Bar, live music and games / displays.
The day starts at 12 noon and finishes off at 5pm.
We are looking for craft stalls and outdoor activities / games suitable for a fun family day.
