Ashfield Food and Drink Festival.
Sunday 17th August 2025.
We are pleased to announce the 6th annual Ashfield Food and Drink Festival, which will take place on Sunday, 17th August 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire (NG15 7AS). This popular event has become a highlight in the regional food and drink calendar, showcasing a diverse selection of high-quality food and drink producers and suppliers.
Public entry to the festival will remain free. Our previous events have attracted over 6,000 attendees, providing significant exposure for participating vendors.
We are maintaining our 2024 fee structure for catering and non-catering pitches and have introduced a new, reduced fee for traders offering food and drink-related items (no produce). The pitch fees are as follows:
- Catering Stalls, Pitches, Vans or Trailers (up to 6m x 3m): £140.00
- Non-Catering Food and Drink Stalls or Pitches (3m x 3m): £85.00
- Non-Food and Drink Stalls or Pitches (3m x 3m): £60.00 All stalls must have a food or drink related element.
To apply for a vendor space at this event, please request an application form and return it to the Markets Office via email at [email protected] or by post to Markets Office, Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 1BP. To support your application, please provide comprehensive information, including photographs of your setup and sample menus. Additionally, please enclose copies of your current public liability insurance, Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) certificate, and any other relevant supporting documentation.
As we anticipate a high volume of applications for specific product categories, we encourage you to submit your completed application form as soon as possible. Applications received by Friday, 2nd May 2025, will be considered in the first allocation of stalls and pitches, which will be made during the week commencing 5th May 2025.
Traders intending to sell alcohol are required to apply for a Temporary Events Notice (T.E.N.) from the local authority. Information regarding this process can be found on the council website. Please note that alcohol sales are permitted for off-site consumption only and must be in sealed bottles or containers. If you plan to sell alcohol, please include a detailed list of products with your application.
The application form also offers the opportunity to express interest in becoming a regular trader at our weekly markets in Hucknall, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and Kirkby-in-Ashfield. If you are interested in this option, please indicate the relevant markets and days on the application form.
